Join me in exploring what I believe to be Native ceremonial grounds in upstate New York. A portion of the acreage was used for pasture and other parts were left alone. Those spots are shown here, They have been disturbed by hunters, animals, farmers, and us. When we built a cabin some special stones were uncovered. Hopefully this blog will evolve and your perceptions and comments are welcome and appreciated here and at sachemhill7@gmail.com. More to be revealed!

    Looking up from Manitou Grove

Some sources state that white stone and quartz was used symbolically at ceremonial sites.

Note the upright triangle stone with shoulders
and the stone circle above.

Were any of the slabs upright?
Note the markings, triangle stones, turtle and two faced stone.
  Nature or Man?
